UX/UI is not one Role!!

DON’T IGNORE THE DOMAIN FOR EACH!!

Both need a subject matter expert for each domain if you are one expert in a domain you are the relevant profile same goes to UI it can be print, web Vfx etc..

The term “UX/UI” is everywhere, fro UX it can be for Pharma, Textile, Automobiles etc.. UI can be Print, Web, Vfx etc...

The “UX” skillset is more focused on the strategy and high-level aspects of the product, while the “UI” skillset is more focused on the execution and tactical aspects of the product.

It’s sort of like building a house. Before beginning construction, you’d probably have a few questions, such as “How many people are going to live in the house?” “What are they going to be doing in the house?”

UX Architect and UI Designer. The roles have the following distinctions:

UX Architect

  • Conducts usability studies, user research, stakeholder interviews, surveys
  • Performs heuristic analyses
  • Build personas, empathy maps, storyboards, journey maps
  • Create logical architectures, navigation schemas, and taxonomies
  • Content mapping & organization
  • Voice of the Customer

UI Designer

  • Design user interfaces
  • Develop brand strategies, style guides, color theory and palettes
  • Define typography
  • Design iconography
  • Conform to accessibility requirements
